In my previous post I wrote that your own judgement is the only one to go by if you photograph for your own satisfaction. It made me think of this photo, which really nobody seems to particularly like. And still every time I look at it, it pleases me; it even made it to my 2016 yearbook, which contains a mere 24 photos.
What is it that makes me like it? It’s the tranquility of this little parking entrance, the subdued colours and the humble simplicity of the scene. I just like utilitarian stuff, maybe that’s all there’s to it.
